Let’s (Not) Freak Out About A.I.
Dr. Mike Doughty is starting his 28th year in public education. He is currently the Assistant Superintendent for the Northeastern Regional Information Center (NERIC), a division of the Capital Region BOCES, which is one of 37 educational service agencies in New York State.
Prior to this role, he was the Executive Director for Statewide Projects where he led statewide efforts to roll out the Next Generation ELA and Mathematics Standards. Mike also served as the Deputy Superintendent of the Greece Central School District, the ninth largest school district in New York State, as well as the Deputy Superintendent of Monroe 1 BOCES.
He was an elementary school principal for 10 years, has taught elementary school, high school math, undergraduate and graduate teacher education, and certification courses for aspiring school administrators.
Mike presents regionally and nationally on many topics including presentation skills, productivity, and leadership. He lives in Hilton, New York, with his wife and two daughters.
