A former scientist & management consultant, Anita brings an open, honest and direct approach from her global experience consulting and coaching diverse clients across all industries. Anita’s gift lies in helping high IQ leaders tap into their EQ. Anita is a skilled coach, having worked with thousands of college and graduate students at Management Leadership for Tomorrow, UC Berkeley – Haas, and the LifeSci NYC Internship Program. She teaches Leadership in the New York University Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
In coaching executives, Anita uses strategic thinking, relationship-building, problem-solving and mindfulness to help her clients pilot new approaches to their leadership, behaviors, and mindset. She has worked with leaders across industries, including technology, healthcare, an professional services.
Anita’s superpower is being a straight shooter with deep empathy. She hails from rural Kansas and brings an international flair from living on three continents, which suits her well now that she lives in the world’s most diverse neighborhood: Jackson Heights, New York. Anita holds degrees in chemistry from Yale University (BS), the University of Melbourne (MSc), and the University of Georgia (PhD) and an MPA from the NYU Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. Anita is studying to be a teacher of mindfulness meditation.
