Let’s (Not) Freak Out About A.I.

Nilofer Rajpurkar (she/her) is a product manager at Stripe, where she works on building the economic infrastructure for the Internet to enable businesses of every size to grow. Her career has focused on building tools for software developers.

Throughout her career, Nilofer has had an up-close and hands-on experience with the development of artificial intelligence and its influence on the software industry. She’s been an early adopter of ChatGPT while at Stripe and was a product manager at GitHub during the development and release of GitHub Copilot, an AI pair programmer. Prior to GitHub, Nilofer worked at Microsoft on using AI to transform healthcare and mobile development tools.

Nilofer is passionate about building tools for software developers as their reach can impact every corner of life. She uses her knowledge and skills to give back in various ways, including being appointed as an NYC[x] Innovation Fellow for the U.S. Digital Response and volunteering as a high school computer science teacher with TEALS.

A proud Boilermaker, Nilofer graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.S. in Business Analytics. She is also a proud 2013 Coca-Cola Scholar and is excited to spend time with fellow scholars. Nilofer lives in Seattle, Washington where she spends time taking advantage of all the city and surrounding area has to offer from great food to lots of live music to incredible nature from mountain to sea.
