She is an experienced strategic business adviser who has personally counseled and coached chief executives and senior leaders. Both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies were fully funded by merit scholarships, and she is a lifetime member of Mensa International.
Torres lives in southern New Jersey and participates actively in her community and church, including service as board member for the University of Virginia IDEA Fund, the Holland Scholars Program, and the Camden Dream Center. She also Chairs the Board of Giving Cycle, an innovative experiential philanthropy program for middle school students. Her spirit of social responsibility was spawned during her youth, while participating actively as a long-term member of the Girl Scouts; and her commitment to servant leadership was reinforced by her selection as a Coca-Cola Scholar and as a Regional Finalist for the White House Fellows Program. When not consulting, lecturing or volunteering, she enjoys investing time in her family.
